Book 1, Royal Arcanum

Note: This timeline follows the journey of Cathy Charlotte, the protagonist of the Arcanum Revelation series, through her point of view.

1994

• Josh is born on 14th August.

• Cathy is born on 20th October.

Unknown Time

• Mason and Haile relocated from New Rochelle, New York to Bisbee, Arizona.

2012

• April - June: Cathy experiences recurring dreams of a figure resembles Sylvia Elle.

• July

○ Early July: Cathy and Josh graduated from Bisbee High School in Arizona.

○ Mid July: Cathy's last days staying in Bisbee, attending the cops' party, welcoming the new detective from Portland, Chantel, who replaces her dad, Mason.

○ Late July: Cathy and her mom, Haile moves from Arizona to New York, staying at Aunt Sarah's house in New Rochelle while Mason relocates to Brooklyn for work.

• September

○ Mon, 3rd Sept: Cathy and Josh start university. After class, Alex, Cathy's Literary Analysis lecturer, takes her to a private Manhattan Library and assigns a project on the Vesperian legend.

○ Tue, 4th Sept: Cathy discovers scribble notes about the Vesperian legend in her mother's private journal.

○ Wed, 5th Sept: Reporter Lydia Brimham investigates rumors of a secret project between the royals of White Foxes and the government.

○ Fri, 14th Sept: Cathy, along with Haile, Sarah, Elle, Josh, and Grandma Martha, flies to Austria for a family trip.

○ Sat, 15th Sept: During her visit to Morizza Chapel and the Austrian National Library, Cathy finally meets the Aloise family and Watchers Seth and Marissa, discovering both Elle's secret role and the Vesperian legend detailed in the Emperor of Souls manuscript.

○ Sun, 16th Sept: Cathy meets Lionelle, the nomad gypsy who helps interpret her recurring dreams, hinted as an angelic presence that connects to the local legend about the Triskelion. After uncovering dark family secrets and surviving demon ambushes, Cathy is forced by a treacherous Detective Chantel to open a portal to Caecus, where celestial beings reveal her Vesperian-Aloise lineage and fate as the destined child.

○ Wed, 19th Sept: Cathy wakes up in a New York hospital after being unconscious for three days.

• October

○ Sun, 14th Oct: Following her hospital discharge, Mason drives Cathy and Josh to the Brooklyn NYPD, where Detective Chantel and Lady Marie interrogate them about the lost castle in Austria.

○ Mon, 15th Oct: After attending Professor Auben de Clure's shocking university seminar on secret portals and facing his demands regarding her mother's secret keys, Cathy is caught researching about them by Alex, who takes her to Matilda Carline's private Manhattan library where Watcher Marissa helps her locate a copy of Emperor of Souls.

○ Tue, 16th Oct: After Eleanor offers access to Queen Vesperia's secret paintings in exchange for stolen logbook data, Cathy and Josh retrieve the information from the Manhattan library, leading Cathy to cross paths with Petunia at university, who reveals Professor Auben recruited her for her Vesperia-inspired writings.

○ Wed, 17th Oct: After Eleanor shows Cathy hidden paintings revealing her striking resemblance to Queen Vesperia and Princess Kathleen, Cathy confronts Haile, who admits she hid the truth to protect her from the Royal Council.

○ Fri, 19th Oct: Cathy and Aunt Sarah accompany Haile to Uncle Nathaniel’s manor in Vancouver, Canada, where Haile submits her resignation as a Royal Council high committee member.

○ Sat, 20th Oct: Cathy turns 18 today (It wasn’t being mentioned in the book since Cathy was too busy following her mom’s family matters). Uncle Nathaniel recounts his past encounter with Princess Francesca (disguised as Erica) and the legend of Roses Bones, a Chandelier archangel relic sought by the Royal Council.

○ Sun, 21st Oct: Cathy, Haile, and Sarah return to New York from Vancouver.

○ Mon, 22nd Oct: After submitting her essay to Alex, Cathy flees upon discovering he is an RIS scout spying on her, only to arrive home as Mr. Clementine, a high committee member of the Royal Council, calls to issue a fatal red card death threat against her family.

Book 2, Roses Bones

• October 2012

○ Mon, 22nd Oct: Cathy is shocked when her mother receives a red card from the Royal Council.

○ Mon, 29th Oct: Alex confronts Cathy about fleeing from him, then explains that he is on a solo mission and not taking orders from the Council.

○ Tue, 30th Oct: Cathy joins a family trip with her mom, Haile and Aunt Sarah to Uncle Nathaniel's manor in Vancouver, Canada.

• November

○ Fri, 2nd Nov: Cathy meets her cousins, Celine and Gavin, at Uncle Nathaniel's manor, and later Celine sneaks Cathy out to explore downtown, taking her to visit the Demonium Bar.

○ Sat, 3rd Nov: Uncle Nathaniel gives Cathy a tour of his manor, showing her a painting of three figures in dark robes in the back hallway.

○ Sun, 4th Nov: Cathy learns a clue about Minerva Mountain in Uncle Nathaniel's journal.

○ Mon, 5th Nov: Cathy and Haile moved to Mason’s apartment in Brooklyn. While there, they watch headline news regarding the sudden death of Lydia Brimham, the journalist who persistently reported on the White Foxes' secret project involving Hallow Nostrum.

○ Tue, 6th Nov: Cathy visited Matilda’s private library in Manhattan, asking to see her black journal regarding Roses Bones.

○ Wed, 7th Nov: Cathy arrived at Crystal Village in Colorado. She met John, the leader of the Yebah tribe.

○ Thu, 8th Nov: The campfire gathering with the Yebah tribe and their two prisoners, Pafola an Father Osborne.

○ Fri, 9th Nov: John introduces Carrie to guide Cathy into the snowy mountain. Afterward, Cathy crosses paths with Elle as they return to Brooklyn due to her mother's concerns.

○ Sat, 10th Nov: Cathy receives a new car from her dad. Afterward, Mason receives a call from the NYPD regarding a follow-up case confirming Lydia Brimham's death as a suicide, while Lydia's father, Trisden Brimham, hires Celine to represent him in a lawsuit against White Foxes.

○ Sun, 11th Nov: While searching for information regarding the Roses Bones in her university library, Cathy discovers Petunia's writings about the Vesperian legend and travels to Petunia's home in Queens to seek further insight.

○ Mon, 12th Nov: With Alex's help and a clue from Petunia's journal, Cathy visits the Royal Council's Ancient Art and Culture Museum, where Alex surprises her by showing her a hidden copy of Queen Vesperia's painting.

○ 13th - 16th Nov: Mid of winter holiday.

○ Sat, 17th Nov: Haile experiences chest pain as her illness relapses.

○ Sun, 18th Nov: Cathy and Mason escorted Haile for a checkup at the hospital.

○ 19th - 21st Nov: Haile is hospitalized and unconscious for three days before suffering a fatal heart attack that leads to her death past midnight.

○ Thu, 22nd Nov: Haile's funeral is held in Brooklyn.

○ 23rd - 25th Nov: Cathy's regular mundane life while navigating the loss of her mother.

○ Mon, 26th Nov: Cathy attends Alex's class where he expresses sympathy for her loss.

○ Late Nov (over a week): Marrissa helps keep Cathy's condition in check.

○ End of November: Josh receives an offer from Madame Dupont, a member of the elder committee, to become an archivist in the Royal Council.

• December

○ End of December: A month since Haile's funeral, Cathy receives an offer from Uncle Nathaniel to take over her mom's position as a high committee member in the Royal Council.

○ Mon, 31st Dec: Cathy and Josh enroll for their university's online classes.

2013

• January

○ Tue, 1st Jan: First day in the Royal Council's annex, initiates Cathy, Josh, and Eleanor are introduced to royal etiquette lessons by Ms. Margaretha Wisconsin.

○ Wed, 2nd Jan: When assigned tutor Ms. Sophia is absent, Ms. Margaretha continues guiding the lesson for the initiates.

○ Thu, 3rd Jan: The initiates meet their tutor, Ms. Sophia, for the first time in the annex.

○ Sat, 5th Jan: Cathy and Josh visit the Diviner's House in downtown Vancouver.

○ Sun, 6th Jan: Cathy crosses paths with Celine, who visits Uncle Nathaniel's manor.

○ Second week of Jan: Marissa brings gifts from Grandaunt Carmelia to congratulate Cathy on being admitted into the Royal Council's initiation program. 

○ The following day: Cathy encounters Elle in the annex's piano room, seeing her again after a long time.

○ The next day: Cathy tells Josh that she found a secret passage in the manor after sneaking out the previous night, discovering a magic board inside.

• March

○ Last week of March: The third month of the initiation concludes.

○ A few days before the inauguration: Uncle Nathaniel passes away from a heart stroke.

○ The following day: The Aloise family gathers in the manor to read and commemorate Sir Nathaniel's last will.

○ The next day: Following the clue in her uncle's letter, Cathy digs in the backyard and discovers an ancient chest of Roses Bones, along with the remnants of mysterious bones.

• April

○ Mon, 1st Apr: On inauguration day, Cathy and Josh are inaugurated by the Royal Council's supreme leader, Lady Tatiana Rosemary, to earn royal peerage.

○ Tue, 2nd Apr: Cathy and Josh receive congratulatory letters from the royals.

○ Sat, 6th Apr: On the evening of the ball, Cathy and Josh are introduced as new fraternal members in the grand building of the Royal Council.

○ Mon, 8th Apr: Cathy and Josh make their first attendance at the grand building of the Royal Council, where Josh begins his work as an archivist and Cathy attends the committee room. Meanwhile, Jean-Pierre de Brach, one of the elder committee members, is surprised to see Cathy because her visage resembles Queen Vesperia. However, Cathy is unaware of his presence.

○ Tue, 9th Apr: In the early dawn, Josh calls Cathy to report that he has found a book mentioning the existence of Roses Bones.
